A multiple-award contract.

NASA SEWP VI is a multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract. Orders placed under SEWP VI are subject to the Fair Opportunity requirements of FAR 16.505(b). NASA's online SEWP Quote Request Tool is the recommended method for obtaining Fair-Opportunity quotes from multiple Contract Holders. The ordering agency — not ASO Systems and not NASA SEWP — is responsible for documenting its own Contract Holder selection and price-reasonableness rationale. ASO Systems administers all NASA SEWP VI orders in accordance with the Fair Opportunity terms of its executed contract.

How to get a quote from ASO Systems.

Government customers can request a NASA SEWP VI quote from ASO Systems in either of two ways:

Contact ASO Systems' SEWP VI sales team directly (see contact card).
Request Fair-Opportunity quotes from multiple Contract Holders through NASA's SEWP Quote Request Tool, accessible from the official NASA SEWP website.

Please include: your agency/organization and point of contact, technical specifications or a bill of materials, quantities, delivery location, required delivery date, and any installation, warranty, software, security, or support requirements.

Quote validity: each ASO Systems quote states its validity period; qualifying orders submitted within that period will be honored.
Contract availability: RFQ responses include only products and services currently available on ASO's SEWP VI contract, subject to applicable SEWP ordering rules.
No-bid rule: if ASO Systems cannot fully respond to an RFQ, it will submit a no-bid unless the RFQ expressly permits partial quotes.
Privacy: ASO Systems collects only the business information necessary to prepare a quote.

— Ordering Process

From requirement to delivery order.

01The customer defines the requirement and prepares the purchase request.
02The customer obtains Fair-Opportunity quotes, normally through the SEWP Quote Request Tool.
03The customer evaluates responses and documents the selection under its agency's procedures.
04The ordering agency — not NASA SEWP — issues the delivery order.
05NASA SEWP reviews, processes, tracks, and forwards the order to ASO Systems (the Contract Holder).
06Order modifications must also be routed through the NASA SEWP PMO.

Installation, warranty, and post-delivery support.

ASO Systems coordinates installation, basic and extended warranty service, technical support, software support, and returns or replacements directly with each customer for every NASA SEWP VI order.
